About Us
A group of health care workers from Wisconsin, started working with some women in Thiotte, Haiti in 2009. Initial efforts included learning a skill, creating crafts, forming a business and selling goods. The women in Thiotte then turned to community building with a focus on “vulnerable” children. They said they would manage food and housing if we could help with education and healthcare.
TOGETHER, we moved forward.
Our Mission
The Mission of Thiotte Haiti Vulnerable Children Relief, Inc is to partner with the local Haitian organizers in providing support for children who have been identified as at-risk or suffering from abandonment or neglect because they are alone or with an adult who does not have the capacity to provide support.
